Every June a celebration is held at the school house honoring retired local teachers who have made a significant difference in their students’ lives and the school community as a whole.  Nominations from their colleagues are made each spring to the Historical Association Committee.  Usually, three to four recipients are selected for this honor.  Anyone interested can contact the historical association for more information.
