Union Cemetery Walking Tour

Take a tour of Union Cemetery on a fall afternoon. Executive Director Paul McCarty will point out some interesting graves of local celebrities who left their marks in life and in death. Union Cemetery of Sandy Hill and Fort Edward was established in 1847 as part of a rural cemetery movement that took place across the country. The tour starts near the Jane McCrea enclosure and winds through the central portion of the cemetery, which contains the remains of many significant families.
Please note: Participants should dress for the weather and wear proper footwear and clothing for this outdoor tour.
